I studied composition with James Chaudoir at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. During this study I was an award winner as "Outstanding Senior Composition Student", which I received at the university for various pieces in the last year.
Even though I concentrated more time and energy on tuba after moving to Germany, I did manage to write a few pieces, such as a commission for 2 bassoons from Klaus Lohrer (bassoonist of the Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne), a concertino for tuba and piano, "Song Without Words", which written in memory of the victims of 9/11, "symphony for brass" (brass quintet), as well as arrangements for brass quintet such as "Prelude to Hansel and Gretel". You can purchase my Concertino for Tuba and Piano from the Blechpresse in Hamburg.
The collaberation with Toni Bujosa, a pianist and composer from Mallorca, has prompete me to start writing more again.
